[背景介紹]

这首第八号奏鸣曲(悲怆)，C小调，OP.13，是贝多芬早期钢琴奏鸣曲创作的顶峰。这首作品作于 1798—1799年之间，呈献给卡尔•李希诺夫斯基公爵(Lichnowsky 1756—1813)，其标题是贝多芬自己确定。
第 二樂章  , .如歌似的慢板，降A大调。这是充满祈祷气氛的抒情乐章，形式为三段体。第一段优美的主题由三声部变奏而成为四声部，中段的降A小调主题有一种意兴阑珊感，附有三连音伴奏后一度出现紧张感，第三段重新表述第一段时，渐渐回到平静。
